The domed pull off lid surmounted by a detachable cast and applied handle of fruiting laurel with a beaded surround. The base and the lid engraved with a voided lozenge. Gilt interior. Marked underneath with maker’s mark LE above BR above UN with a trefoil above (Farrugia XII i 137 b), and stag’s head F for French standard (958 standard).
