A collection of original Spencer Davis Group releases comprising UK Fontana singles together with the You Put The Hurt On Me EP retaining its original picture sleeve. The group represents the band's most successful and influential period featuring the youthful Stevie Winwood, whose powerful vocals helped establish the Spencer Davis Group as one of the leading British beat and rhythm and blues acts of the 1960s. Included are several of the band's best-known recordings, among them Keep On Running, Somebody Help Me, When I Come Home, Gimme Some Lovin' and I'm A Man, together with the You Put The Hurt On Me EP and a continental pressing of Time Seller. A strong collection of original period releases from one of the defining groups of the British beat boom and an important stepping stone in the career of Stevie Winwood. Condition: Records generally display light to moderate surface wear, handling marks and signs of age consistent with use. Labels show expected spindle wear and light handling marks. The You Put The Hurt On Me picture sleeve exhibits age toning, creasing, edge wear and general storage wear. No play testing undertaken.
