The motif shows an abstract harvest landscape in damped green, brown, grey and golden hues. Light, long-range shapes break through the dark landscape and may resemble sunlight or re-railing over water. The picture has a calm and dreaming expression, typically for Wenche Island's simplified and moody nature descriptions. Wenche Øyen has been trained at the State's crafts and art industry school and the State Academy of Fine Arts. She has, among other things, been purchased by the National Gallery, the National Galle and the Norwegian Cultural Council.
