The motif shows yellow and orange water lilies against a dark water surface. The strong colors and the simple composition give the picture a moody and modern expression. Atle Helland comes from Kvinnherad and has worked with photography since the early 1980s. He was involved in establishing the Women's Army Photo Club in 1983 and has won NM in photo three times.
