Three-step poem written for Sidonie Nádherný in the time of the crisis of her close relationship: "You are only from far away to me. And hardly / on my horizon a margin more, just a hem / purple farewell. Just one more lead. / Did the sun shine? No, she just seemed to me! / It's not you! The fire still in the face, / I call after you: Are you not, you were not! ...". - The legible delicate clean lettering has besides a carefully overwritten shaving site at the end of the first verse no corrections. The manuscript was probably intended for the mistress herself, who had alienated herself from him and separated from him in September 1918. According to a note in the letter edition of Borutin and Pfäfflin, Kraus presented the poem to her on 1 January. September in Pottenstein. - Accompanied by the correction extract of the poem with the personal dedication "The Unforgettable. Karl Kraus. The poet did not include the intimate verses in the "flame", but in December 1918 in the fourth volume of the "words in verses". - The poem manuscript on the right side with a tape track, but far outside the script.
