(Kanten beschabt) with ornamental borders and vases in gold embossed on the back and on both covers, back sign "Thinking meal of friendship", standing edge gilding, gold cut and marble. Purposes. 1788-1813. Despite looting by previous owners (it is missing 9 Bl.) still very nice Berliner Stammbuch, which besides numerous relatives and friends of the owner has a number of prominent contributors: the later Singakademie director Carl Friedrich Rungenhagen (1778-1851), the theologian and pedagogue Friedrich Gedike, among others Gymnasial Director and member of the Academy of Sciences (1754-1803), the linguist and romantic writer August Ferdinand Bernhardi (1769-1820), the alto philologist and educator Johann Heinrich Christian Barby (1765-1837), the philologists and philosopher Karl Wilhelm Friedrich Solger (1780-1819), the philosopher, educator (teacher Tiecks) and romantic author Friedrich Rambach (1767-1826) as well as the two Berliner Künstler-Brothers Catel, namely the architect and painter Louis Catel (1776-1819, with longer text) and the wood sculptor and painter Franz Catel (1878-1856), who is also represented with a full-page, signed pencil drawing (landscape). At the beginning a romantic landscape with a ruin in the foreground, which contains a "Monument d'amitié" on the wall; signed with ink: "H. Kuntzmann fecit 1790". The other colored leaves contain another monument of friendship and bouquets in bright colors. The artful silhouette (1792) shows the grandmother of the parent book owner, Christina Sophia Sonnenberg. Most of the contributions in Berlin, some (e.g. Solger) also in Halle (Saale). Gedike, Bernhardi, Rambach and Barby enter Berlin in 1793. Ewald von Kleist, Ramler, Claudius, Herder, Goethe (1799), Schiller (from "Wallenstein") and Shakespeare are quoted.
