The contributions mostly from friends and relatives in Leipzig, later Naumburg, Dresden and Lindenau; mostly from the period 1809-1815. The attractive watercolors and coloured copper show an amor with flowers and beaking pigeons, monuments of friendship, fruit stills and flowers as well as landscapes with ruins or a hut. Of the contributions a nice example (Leipzig 1811): "I want to write myself in your masterbook, / I don't know what? / I always want to stay your friend, / Do you have that?" - Throughout slightly tanned or brownish. - Including a more detailed description with a list of a number of the contained names.
