The first letter (Berlin 1943) to the publisher Georg Elsner, treasurer of the Gesellschaft für Theatergeschichte, the remaining letters (4 hands, 1 machine-written) to Prof. Dr. Hans Knudsen, professor of theatre science in Berlin. Lüders reports from 200 to 300 books about theatre in his library, which he would like to donated to the Gesellschaft für Theatergeschichte in Berlin. The wartime and post-war period prevented the project, until 1947 the 280 volumes were transported to Berlin. Except for a New Year's greeting card from 1970, all letters deal with the Book Foundation to the Society for Theatre History, with Lüders' great veneration for Hans Knudsen becoming apparent.
