Pahlavi dynasty, of baluster form upon a collet foot, with a curved spout opposite a wrought scroll handle. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a pyriform finial (pin deficient). The body with an oval scroll cartouche with niello work flowers to one side and a stag in a mountainscape to the other, each flanked by floral sprays in niello against an incised background, all between trailing foliate niello borders and an incised wavy band. The lid similar decorated and the spout with niello floral sprays. Marked to the handle with an indistinct workshop mark Noghreh Chi (silversmiths brothers), and Khosrow.
