Mid-20th century Iraqi silver and niello dressing table box from Omara circa 1940, octagonal form with hinged lid surmounted by notched urn finial on three scroll feet, niello decoration of Taq Kasra ruins, Abu Hanifa al-Nu'man, mudhif, camels and dhow sailing boats, unsigned, together with unsigned napkin ring, length 7.5 cm, weight 141g.
