Of oval cylindrical form, the hinged lid surmounted by a detachable finial of a recumbent peasant man. The body with bright cut engraved floral sprays adjoined by foliate and dotted swags, all between guilloche borders. Engraved to the front with a later 19th century quartered coat of arms, surmounted by two crests, all above the motto Prest Pour Mon Paisi. Fully marked underneath, and part-marked to the lid.
