I identify great art with primitive art, with art such as they instinctively sensed the creators of the first artistic imaginations of symbol and sign. They were a source of wisdom and magical power. (...) I believe in the inner function of painting, and I trust that the image is needed by humanity, who always wanted it. However, it is important to know how to use art and how to communicate with it. I think that humanity without art would be sad and impoverished, but I cannot explain the one and unique which is really important in the work of art. I think that art has no rules, the artist must be guided by instinct, an inner voice that tells us how to proceed. Henryk Musialovich
