Pendant with Sardonyx Cameo 18 ct yellow gold. Differently cut double portrait in profile from multi-layered brown-white sardonyx (approx. 43.0 x 39.0 mm). Possibly Minerva with helmet, adorned with a Silenus mask and an ancient ruler. Smooth golden à cage setting with fixed eyelet. The small pendilion of emerald bead and baroque pearl later added. Not stamped. Small glued spot. Total height 8.5 cm. Weight 44.09 g. Probably Italy, 17th century.
