Grotrian-Steinweg grand piano completely restored according to the rules of the art in 2022. Op. No. 86137 (1960) The company was founded in 1835 in Seesen by Heinrich Engelhard Steinweg (Steinway). Grotrian became a partner in the company. Heinrich Steinweg emigrated to the United States in 1851 and in 1853 founded the firm of Steinway & Sons in New York under the name Henry E. Steinway. The Grotrian-Steinweg firm is one of the oldest piano manufacturers in the world.
