This exhibition initiated the artist's international career and made him a precursor of the op-art movement. The net, recognized by Rosalind Krauss as one of the most important themes of 20th century art, was also the main means of artistic exploration for Stańczak, where he drew inspiration from both nature and his own experiences. In the picture presented the artist used forms of a multiple square, and the created composition is characterized by the frontalism and color vibration of the obtained colors.
