THE PROPOSAL TO BE APPLYED TO THE DEPARTMENTS OF ESPOO CITY 2026, through a successful offer by the City of Espoo (Auctions.com), authorises the sale of Christmas trees on a map annexed to the auction notice in an area separately surrounded by an area owned and controlled by the city of Espoo (‘the place of sale’). The licence is valid from 7.12. to 24.12.2026 daily from 07-21, except on Christmas Eve from 07-16. The marketing authorisation is valid only in 2026 and does not entitle the place of sale after the expiry of the marketing authorisation. The screamer is responsible for taking a good look at the Venue and its surroundings in advance. The Marketing Authorisation Holder agrees that similar activities may be carried out in the vicinity of the Marketing Authorisation Site. At the latest by 29 December 2026, the Marketing Authorisation Holder shall be obliged to carry out the removal of unsold fir and fir waste from the Venue and to clean up each of the sales sites held by the Marketing authorisation holder.If the Marketing Marketing Authorisation holder leaves trees on the Vendor or otherwise fails to clean the Sales Venue, the marketing authorisation holder shall: obliged to pay a contractual fine of EUR 2000 to the City of Espoo for each uncleaned Venue held by the Marketing Authorisation Holder. The contractual penalty shall be invoiced to the Marketing Authorisation Holder on the basis of a finding of non-compliance with the place of sale, without further consultation with the marketing authorisation holder. All observed non-compliances with the cleaning obligation are photographed and documented.No advertising equipment or other equipment shall be brought to the place of sale that prevents or impedes the maintenance of the local environment or other normal use of the sales site. No damage shall be done to the plantings or equipment on the site of sale. The use of planted trees or shrubs in support of the trees sold is prohibited. If the place of sale is located by the transformer plant, the spruces must be placed for sale in such a way that it is accessible to the transformers. Sales stands or spruces shall not be "planted" in such a way that a hole is made in the ground. The sale of the juniper or other goods is prohibited on the Sales Site.The successful owner of the auction may not transfer, rent, dispose of or sell the Sales Authorisation or Sale Site to another person, company or entity. The Marketing Authorisation Holder shall be responsible for ensuring that on its behalf the marketing authorisation conditions are complied with by the entities active at the place of sale.In the event that the use of the Marketing Authorisation Site is prevented from being used by the city for a reason attributable to the city, the City undertakes to assign the Marketing Marketing Authorisation holder without delay to a replacement Venue or, if the replacement Vendor cannot be demonstrated, alternatively to refund the fee paid for the Sales Authorisation. If the Marketing Authorisation Holder or his/her representatives do not comply with these guidelines or any other relevant provisions issued by the City Authority, the representative of the City of Espoo’s Plot Unit or other competent authority shall have the right to suspend the activity of the Marketing authorisation holder at the place of sale without compensation for the unused sales time being being paid, or refund.You can visit the place of sale freely.
