First complete German translation (Reclam)   The book "Philosophical Pocket Dictionary" by the French Enlightenment and Writer Voltaire is being called up.   The work was published anonymously in 1764 under the title "Dictionnaire phoosophique portatif" and is considered one of the most influential controversial documents of the European Enlightenment against prejudices, fanaticism and clerical intolerance.   This basic text of the Enlightenment is published here for the first time completely in German and was translated by Angelika Oppenheimer and published by Rainer Bauer in cooperation with the Voltaire Foundation in 2020.   Details: Author: Voltaire Publisher: Philipp Reclam jun.
