This object is a brutalist clock made of carved solid wood, which was made in the unmistakable modernist design of the 1970s. These watches are characterized by their relief-like, asymmetric surfaces and the direct incorporation of motifs in the body. Special features of the design: Brutalistic style: The case looks like hewn from a single, massive block or tree trunk, with deep recesses and geometrical planes. Carved forest motifs: On the front you can see artful reliefs of forest animals and natural features, including a well-recognizable owl on the left, a bird, a deer as well as oak leaves and acorns. Visible movement: The watch has a built-in pendulum and chain hoists, which are visible through an elongated, open recess in the middle of the wooden body.   The wood has no distinctive damage but traces of use due to age.
