At the bottom border is the punched value number 4, flanked by the mintmaster initials L - W. The legend reads SINCERE ET CONSTANTER ANNO 1663. Rev.: A Brunswick horse leaping left before a detailed Harz mining landscape. A hand emerging from the clouds holds a laurel wreath above the horse. The lower section shows a cross-section of a mine with tunnels, shafts, and miners working at a windlass. An exceptionally rare date, with a minor edge flaw. Dav. 176, Ex. Collection F.
