The Personal Archive of Peter Afia. An embroidered Sindhi wedding shawl from Sindh, Pakistan, late 19th century. Worked in floss silks with end borders of pink flowering trees and a field of moon motifs. Included with a full-length kani weave Kashmir shawl (India, 20th century) and an embroidered Suzani (Uzbekistan, 20th century).
