The Personal Archive of Peter Afia. A double-sided quilted panel of block-printed cotton indienne. French, 19th century. One side printed in imitation of a Kashmir shawl, the other with exotic flowers on a yellow ground (losses). 62cm x 73cm. The pattern of the side printed in imitation of a Kashmir shawl can also be seen in the 'Lisiéres' design by Marvic Textiles.
