A Mempo. Edo period. The russet mask lacquered red to the interior with detachable nose-piece above lush moustache, three lame kebiki-laced kozane yodare-kake attached, unsigned. 25cm (9 7/8in) long. Provenance: Acquired in France prior to 2010.
