In this work he describes not only his own system of electric telegraphy but also the developments of W. Siemens, S. Morse, E. Stoehrer, Carl August Steinheil (1801-1870) and G. E. Kramer. – Pretitle with personal dedication and signature of the author for the Bonn professor August Beer (1825-1863). Title verso with library and duplicate stamps.
