A second volume of "Elegant Chemistry" announced in the preface was also published by Ebner in 1821 with the title "Neueste Regelungen für Destillateur, Brandtweinbrenner und Parfumerie-Fabrikanten". Both volumes belong to the rarer writings of the Mechanicus working in Nuremberg, which has become known mainly through its electrifying machines.
