The "Kaiserkrone", originally from Vorderasia and since the late 16th century, has been the "Kaizerkrone". It is a leaf from the famous "Hortus Eystettensis" in which Basilius Besler, in a sense, celebrates the beauty of creation in the form of plants. Very excellent pressure with rich colorite, with narrow edge around the plate edge. Low signs of wear, horizontal tear at the bottom near the edge of the plate, recto but hardly noticeable, minimal marginal lassures, brown adhesive tape, otherwise very well preserved. – Due to paper browned, slightly sticky and finger stained, bridges reinforced. Very decorative.
