Page twelve to sixty-three with the theory of electricity, from page sixty-four the descriptions of numerous electro-magnetic devices, including lightning conductors, pointer telegraphs (among others by Charles Wheatstone, Samuel Morse, Gustav Ephraim Kramer and Emil Stöhrer), alarm clock bells, writing and magnetic telegraph, and the "Zeiger-Telegraph nebst Wecker von Siemens und Halske", probably a further development of the hand telegraph with self-interruption developed by W. von Siemens in 1846 (cf. Darm Staedter p. 494). The author was a senior teacher in Dorsten, later also in Paderborn and Coesfeld (Raßmann I, p. 52). The panels with interesting details. – Low spotted. Edges slightly tanned.
