Landesgewerbeverein Hessen 5012. – "The most important building of this railway line is the bridge over the Neckar near Neckarelz; the same is significant not only because of its size, but also because of the position in relation to the Neckars." (Preface) This grid bridge, which is drawn in a large arc over the River Neckar, has five openings between 160 and 120 feet long. (Total length approx. 190 m). It was designed by Franz Keller (1807-1870) and built by the Esslingen Maschinenfabrik under the direction of Moritz Schröter (1813-1867) from the spring of 1860 until October 1862. Included are a total view (with sound record), situation plan and 10 panels with details. The other panels with route and Nivellement as well as representations of tunnel portals near Heidelberg, station buildings and station plans, bridges and viaducts, rail connections, signals, etc. – Slightly patchy, 3 panels stronger.
