See Graesse VI/1, 400. – Posthumously published editions (first and second part, printed in 1612) of the famous coat of arms book of the eraser and publisher Johann Ambrosius Siebmacher (1561-1611) with over 5000 coat of arm pictures. In view of its importance to Heraldik, Siebmacher's main work has experienced numerous new editions, improvements and extensions over the centuries. "From Silbermacher himself only the first two volumes. After his death, all the plates passed to Paul Fürst, who repeatedly used them for new editions and later increased the coat of arms book by four more parts" (Lipperheide). – In part II, the plates 40, 92 and 93 are missing. Part III with library stamp and shaved ownership note on the title. Some finger- and brown-spotted, otherwise well preserved.
