Jähns 3, 2578f. – Very rare military-tactical work of the Württemberg major and later lieutenant colonel von Werkamp (b. 1745), since 1793 by adoption also called "von Irmtraut". Already in 1759 he entered the military service, participated in the Seven Years' War as well as in the War of 1793 on the Rhine. He then retired from military service and lived in Stuttgart, where he was found in the address book in 1811. The numerous representations illustrate the most diverse march and formation movements of military units. The Subscriben Directory (p.
