Rare political monogram print in the style of the Neuruppiner Bilderbogen, edited by the National Conservative and anti-Republic German National People's Party on the occasion of the proclamation of the Weimar Republic, with ten political illustrations by graphic artist Herbert Rothgaengel (1891-1945). Each illustration with descriptive short text (e.g. "As Spartacus plundered in the countryside", "When one delivered the fleet", "As the dairy cows belonged to the enemies" etc.). The illustrations signed in the wooden stick are early works of the graphic artist Rothgaengel, who was allowed to practice here and then illustrated various children's books in the Third Reich and created numerous war images for the Nazi propaganda, glorifying the German heroism. Rothgaengel was probably killed in the Battle of Berlin in the spring of 1945. – A little tanned and with smaller edges or cracks.
