Zishka 185. – First edition of the extensive lexicon. Part 1 contains a systematic teaching for the merchant: regulations of middle scriptures, treatise of commodities-calculations, "extensive theoretical and practical treatise on double accounting" (p. 42-163) and alphabetical tables of weights and measures from Europe and overseas. Part 2 "includes a number of commercial German, English and French-language expressions and also contains entries from the areas of geography (important trading places), botany and zoology (regarding trade goods) ... Martin Euler (1728-before 1802) acquired his fame as the author of a number of other commercial textbooks" (Seemann 192). Also interesting is the list of prenumerants, mostly from Germany but also Switzerland with 626 names.
