Ohara Koson (1877-1945) is one of the representatives of the modern Shin-hanga flow and is known especially for natural representations in the genre flowers and birds. The album includes depictions of birds (including crows in the snow, pheasant, sparrows), mammals (pearl, hare) and insects (cicada, bee) with flora (including peony, willow, pine). – The first and the last woodcut with the clapping of the gold speckling of the intention. The leaves at the upper edge are continuously numerically stamped (1-12). In the peripheral area, browned due to paper. Overall very fresh and in good condition.
