Japan late 19th-early 20th. ==References== The album combines high-quality prints by important representatives of the Ukiyo-e tradition, including Utagawa Hiroshige, Suzuki Harunobu, Isoda Korinsai, Toshusai Sharaku, Ohara Shotei, Ohare Koson, Kitagawa Utamaro, Torii Kiyonaga, Hosoda Eishi, Katsukawa Shunsho and Watanabe Seitei. Central genera such as Bijin-ga, Yakusha-e, landscapes as well as Kacho-ga (bird and flower motifs) are represented. The spectrum ranges from atmospheric landscapes and poetic winter scenes in snow to nature observations to actor portraits and elegant women's portraits.
