Ferrez, Marc. Rio de Janeiro. Mixed lot of of 14 photographs with silver gelantine mounted on cardboard. 10 x 32 to 22 x 16 cm. Rio de Janeiro around 1880. The prints belong to a larger work by Marc Ferrez (1843-1923), which contains around 4000 photographs. The Brazilian photographer wrote his extensive documentary work on the urban development of Rio de Janeiro. – Light light-edge, cardboard a bit patchy. All in all slightly wavy.
