Ebert 11996. – Last edition of the extensive collection of sources on the history of Northern Germany and Hamburg, now published by Johann Albert Fabricius. First contains Adam of Bremen's church history Scandinavia and northwestern Germany, then the Historia archiepiscoporum Bremensium, the sources for the privileges of the German emperors for the dioceses of Bremen, Hamburg and other northern German cities. The second and third parts are followed by the two books Origines Hamburgenses by Petrus Lambeck, to which a fourth part is added a collection of inscriptions on Hamburg grave monuments, partly in German, among others by Paul Fleming and Werner Rolevinck. The dedication printed as a pictogram in the form of an altar on the first sheet behind the title is of typical interest. – Title with partly deleted stamp (with small hole), interior mirror with modern exlibris. A little tanned or brownish, overall well preserved.
