With detailed descriptions of the buildings and with inventory lists of the Dresden collections. The 28 magnificent copper plates, partly with references to Bernardo Bellotto, gen. Canaletto (1721-1780), partly engraved according to his own drawings, show views of and from the city (12), of the castles Moritzburg, Pillnitz, Meißen, Königstein, Sonnenstein etc. as well as scenes from the Plauischer Grund. Since the engraver Carl Gottfried Nestler (1730-1780) was the inspector of the copper engraving cabinet, the beautiful views are executed with special knowledge and detail. – Only low paper-related very uniformly tanned, title with small shave, intent with cutout, otherwise very nice preserved.
