No title, 1975. Signed on the back with dating. Oil on canvas. 80 x 80 cm. Allan Daugaard Hansen (1922-2009) was a trained ship designer, and during the period 1953-1974 he was chairman of the B&W Art Association. At the same time he was an avid photographer and later autodidact painter. Exactly the interest in photography became the seeds of a lifelong friendship with Henry Heerup, on which Daugaard Hansen made a colour film in 1955 and published a thoroughly illustrated monograph in 1996. Nothing to notice.
