The RR100 is designed as UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) for research, development and testing purposes. Applications are particularly in the field of robotics, autonomous navigation, mapping, sensor technology, environment acquisition as well as research and teaching.   The software architecture is based on the Robot Operating System ROS. Engines, steering and various sensors can be addressed via appropriate software interfaces. The manual control is carried out via the supplied remote control. The offered system includes two ZED2i cameras, two side surveillance cameras, an RTK-compatible GPS antenna, temperature sensor, line lasers, front and rear LEDs, a 5G router with antenna, remote control, charging station, replacement tyre with road profile as well as various cables and small accessories. The vehicle was used as part of a research and development project. According to the development report of the University of Lübeck, the sensors and actuators installed at that time were functional and accessible via software interfaces as of December 2024. Among other things, tests were carried out for mapping and localisation.     Known defects and special features: The originally installed Ouster 128 LiDAR sensor has been expanded and not part of this auction. The associated power supply is still in the robot. The drive battery is defective and must be replaced for re-use. The robot is therefore not currently ready to drive.   An internal computer is available. This is where project-specific software is located. A usability of the existing software for the future acquirer cannot be guaranteed. Knowledge of robotics, ROS, electronics and programming is recommended for meaningful re-use. According to the manufacturer's documentation, the RR100 is a research and development platform and not a fully configured autonomous working machine. The charging station belongs to the system. It is intended for charging the RR100 and is operated with 230 V AC. ... A survey before bid is expressly recommended.
