"One of the best editions in usum Delphini" (Ebert), i.e. for use for the musical education of the heir to the throne at the French court. "Edition la plus estimée: les obscoena qui forment 16 pages séparées, sont ordinairement placés à la fin du vol. avant l'index" (Brunet). Exemplary from the library of the important Bonn lawyer and historian Eduard Böcking (1802-1870), who, among other things, published a critical edition of his works as a friend of August Wilhelm Schlegel, as well as one of the most important editions of Ulrich von Hutten's writings. With its possession note: "Ex bibliotheca Papalbaumiana sibi comparavit Eduard Böcking" etc., dated Berlin December 1826. Böcking's library was auctioned posthumously, his Hutten library went into the possession of the Strasbourg UB and his legal estate is kept in the ULB Bonn. – The titles for part II after page 432 as well as the two fl.
