Schulte-Strathaus 52, 48a. – First edition of Herder's historical philosophical main work, which at the same time marks the beginning of the philosophy of history in Germany, here in a copy of the splendid printed edition in the quart format (a print in Kleinoktav was also published). The historicalization of the concept of development and the elaboration of developmental laws proved to be progressive compared to the Enlightenment.
