"The Little Devil" or "The Small Devil's Roast" is one of the rarest miniature booklets from the Parisian publishing house of Alexandre Théodore Marcilly (1796-1846), decorated with eight lovely tiny coppers. The work is even rarer and more sought after than "Le Poète de l'enfance". Worldwide, in large library catalogues (such as the WorldCat) only two to three physically existing copies can be detected. – As usual, a little short circumcised, with small loss of letters and over the circumference line of the copper engravings, otherwise well preserved.
