With the fragments allegedly found by Nodot, which were first published in 1691 but soon uncovered as a forgery. The copper, the Ebert as reprints of the illustrations by J. V. Aveele are partly signed by Johann Caspar Morf, a copper engraver from Zurich, who worked between 1680 and 1695 (cf. Nagler X, 536). – Lightly tanned. Very nice, decoratively bound specimen.
