Teitge 588. – First book edition, the first print of the fairy tale appeared in Biernatzki's Volksbuch on the year 1851 for Schleswig, Holstein and Lauenburg under the title Stein and Rose. A fairy tale, a second print thoroughly revised by Storm, followed in 1855 in the Silesian newspaper. For this first edition of the book, the text was revised slightly by Storm. The gold-embossed cover illustrations by R. Schubert shows a young woman in a wreath of roses. – A little patchy.
