Chandragupta II. coined like his grandfather and dynasty founder Chandragonta I. the usual archer type and the legend Chandra is placed horizontally under his left arm as with his predecessor, but his types also have specific peculiarities: He appears on the cross with curly hair arranged in two rows, and Lakshmi on the lapel often sits on a lotus instead as originally on the throne.
