Of 000 auditorium form, with natural-finished solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with diamond-and-square position markers. Fitted with rosewood bridge, tortoiseshell-effect scratch-plate and binding, multi-ring soundhole rosette and Martin-branded chrome enclosed tuning machines. An early example of Martin's 000-16, produced during the model's original late 1980s/early 1990s period and differing in specification and construction from later guitars carrying the 000-16 designation. The neck block stamped 000-16 / 513238. Together with a fitted hard case. Condition: In generally good used condition with light surface scratches, marks and playing wear consistent with age and use. Some tarnishing and surface wear to the hardware. Appears substantially complete. Guitar has not been professionally assessed for neck angle, action, fret wear or playability.
