Etruskischer Votivkopf eines Mädchens mit halblangem Haar. 3. Jh. v. Chr. H 22cm. Vorderseite matrizengeformt, aus rotbraunem Ton. Am Hinterkopf ein rundes Brennloch. Kopf eines Mädchens capite velato mit Haargabel über der Stirn und langen seitlichen Haarsträhnen, oben auf dem Kopf verläuft ein Band unter dem Mantelüberwurf. Oberfläche etwas berieben, winzige Fragmente des Schleiers fehlen. Provenienz: Ex Sammlung A.M., Ascona/Amsterdam. Erworben 1985 in Genf. Etruscan votive head of a girl with medium-length hair. 3rd century BC. H 22cm. Front side molded, made of reddish-brown terracotta. Round firing hole at the back of the head. Head of a girl capite velato with hair fork above the forehead and long side strands of hair; a band runs across the top of the head beneath the cloak. Minor chips at the edge of the veil, surface partially worn.
