Kopf eines jungen Mannes capite velato mit kleinteiligen, bewegten Haarlocken im kräftigen frühhellenistischen Stil. Oberfläche an unterschiedlichen Stellen berieben, mehrere Fragmente am Schleier fehlen, kleines Loch auf der Rückseite. Provenienz: Ex Sammlung A.M., Ascona/Amsterdam. Erworben 1985. Etruscan votive head of a young man. Late 4th - early 3rd century BC. H 25cm. Front side molded, with a round firing hole at the top, made of brown terracotta. Head of a young man, capite velato, with small, flowing curls of hair in the strong early Hellenistic style. Surface at some spots worn, several fragments at the veil missing, tiny hole at the backside.
