One of a total of 999 copies of the facsimile, known as one of the most beautiful astrology books of the Renaissance De Sphaera. Originally, the script had no title, nor does it give any indication of an author or writer. On the other hand, the artist who created the illustrations is known: Christoforo de Predis (1440-1486), deaf silent from birth and book artist at the court of the Sforza in Milan. The total of 15 miniatures describe the planets Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury and Moon, which, according to their conception, orbit the Earth. The astronomical manuscript also records the relationship between the globe and the celestial sphere, as well as explanations of the lunar phases and the climate coordinates. The planets are associated with the zodiac signs as well as two most accurately reproduced views of landscapes, cities and interiors, along with the good or bad characteristics attributed to the personified planets. – Almost new.
