Three elaborate facsimiles of splendidly illuminated manuscripts in a noble jewelry box made of elm wood, the originals date from the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th century. It is part of the Montserrat Monastery Museum in Barcelona. All are richly illustrated and provided with magnificent miniatures, floral borders and thousands of initials. Contains: I. Ms 58. The Little Book of Hours of Montserrat-Munich - A book of hours by the Flemish master Simon Bening (ca. 1483-1561), richly decorated and of outstanding artistic quality.- II. Ms. 66. The great book of the Hipólita de Aragón-Sforza - Jean Bourdichon (b. 1457) decorated this book in fine painting and with great plasticity for Maria Sforza (1446-1484). - III. Ms 851. The Book of Hours of Montserrat (Liber Horarum Rothomagensis) - A book of hours created around 1500 by an unknown master for the nobility, illustrating Mary's life with many miniatures.
