Blind embossed pigskin d. C. (stronger tanned, rubbed and inflated upper capital and 2 brass clasps missing as well as with few wormholes) over wooden covers. France around 1700. Particularly pretty and coloured in strong colors measuring book with different entries. Included are, for example, the songs "Eisdem diebus ad laudes hymnus", "Ad primam omni tempore hymnu", "ad tertiam dominicis ... hyminus", " Ad vesperas dominicis ... hismnus," "Ad completorium canitur per totum aduentum ... hynnus", and "Eodem tempore ad tertiam exceptis festis sanctorum", "Ad tertiac toto tempore ... hyMustrum", etc. On the first leaf there is a beautiful and colourful Bischhof coat of arms with the initials "FLAO". On it is shown a book, a Bischhofsmütze, a cross, a "fleur de Lille" and two episcopal sticks. – Front inner glinth open, with wormholes, partly with cracks and flaws, slightly brown-spotted and seven leaves loose.
